We're mixing up the Boston Indie Showcase this year! Instead of limiting the game submissions to a specific regional area, this time any developer can submit a game but we're limiting the contest to specifically mobile games. Specifically, current generation iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile games.
Of course, because it's an Indie showcase, teams and companies need to have 15 employees or less and not have any sort of publisher agreement in place.
What Happens If You Make It Into The Boston Indie Showcase
- Announcement on Penny Arcade as being selected for BIS!
- Announcement on the PAX East site as being selected for BIS!
- Four Exhibitor Hall Badges for PAX East 2012, giving you access to everything exhibitors receive.
- A kiosk in the PAX East Exhibition Hall for you and your team to demo your game to tens and thousands of gamers, media and industry-folk. We can provide a monitor and speakers if requested earlier than 30 days of the show, however will not include any additional hardware for your demo to play on (you'll need your own video adapters to display your game on the monitors).
Eligibility For The Boston Indie Showcase
- Your game must run on current generation iOS, Android, or Windows Mobile hardware.
- You are an independent developer without a traditional publisher-developer relationship in place.
- You cannot be funded by an outside party.
- All games must be in at least beta form.
To submit your game or get additional information, see our submission page here.
