PAX East is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we've got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers. Even with all this amazing content the best part of PAX East is hanging out with other people who know their shit when it comes to games.
A 3-day pass is available for $65, and single day passes for each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are available for $35.
You know we're biased right? The exhibition hall, freeplay areas, and tournaments are open all three days of PAX East. Concerts are Friday and Saturday nights. The final round of the Omegathon is Sunday.

If you've pre-registered, that means you've received your pre-registration packet with the appropriate identification to get you in the door. If you're buying tickets the day-of, just head to the registration desk near the main entrance.
PAX does have a BYOC section, although it requires an additional registration which hasn't opened yet. Stay tuned to our twitter and we'll announce it there.
Not if it looks like a firearm at "second glance". Not if it is sharp or pointy enough to cut or pierce someone with moderate pressure. Not if it is weighty enough to bludgeon someone with a moderate-force swing. And not if it has the ability to fire any sort of projectile.
Your pre-reg packet and badge, comfortable shoes, and ID. PAX East is great for just meeting new people and having fun, so consider also bringing your handheld game system, favorite CCG, minis, or tabletop game.

The Omegathon is a three-day elimination tournament between randomly selected attendees who compete in games from every category (tabletop, console, PC) culminating in a live championship match on the big stage during PAX closing ceremonies. The final round is always out of left field and is completely insane.
Log back into the registration system using your confirmation number, from there you will be able to have your badges mailed to a different address.
