WHAT IS PAX XP?
A very special scavenger hunt we set up just for you. We’ve set up spots throughout the show that you can scan for games, digital trophies, photo ops, and the chance to win cool prizes. This is a great live-action adventure to take part in, and you may even make friends while you’re searching for the next code to scan.
PAX XP EXPERIENCES
PAX ARCADIA
There is another world beyond what you can see…The World of Arcadia! Scattered around the show, you’ll see a series of stations with the PAX XP Logo. Use the mobile app to scan QR codes at XP stations to unlock a narrative, a game, or something else entirely. If you can unlock every chapter, swing by the Info Booth in the main lobby to collect a mystery prize! Keep in mind, these stations won’t work unless you activate your badge so start there!
GABE V. TYCHO
Upon registering for PAX XP, you’ll be automatically drafted to either Team Gabe or Team Tycho. Battle head to head for points by collecting as many stops as you can! At the end of the show, the winning team is announced and 1 lucky member of the team has a chance to win a pair of 4-Day Badges to PAX East 2024!
PRIZE STATIONS
Win swag and prizes from some of the sponsored stations around the show! Once your badge is activated, use the PAX Nav app to scan QR codes for prizes from Marvel Snap, Once Upon a Galaxy, and a daily chance to win a ROG Ally!
PAX XP FAQs
Activate your badge via the PAX Nav Mobile App – you can download the app at PAXNav.com. Either follow the prompt when you first log in or find the link in the "Interact" tab. Remember, you need your badge in hand to activate!
Activation can also be done online at PAXXP.com, but you will need to connect your badge to PAX Nav anyway, since you can’t play XP outside the app.
Once you’ve activated your badge:
Look for one of the scan stations around the show signified by a PAX XP logo
Use the camera within the mobile app (under Interact > PAX XP scanner) to scan the QR code at the station
Follow the prompts on screen to get your trophy – could be a game, a story, or something else entirely!
Unlock all the stops for a chance to win prizes!
Look for the 10-digit code on the back of your badge, directly underneath the QR code.
Follow the “I’ve already registered” prompts when you get to badge activation in the PAX Nav app. You’ll enter in the email address you used when you activated your badge in outside the mobile app, and this will generate a unique code sent to your email. Enter this code in when you’re instructed to and you’re ready to go!
First check your spam folder and look for an email from [email protected]. If you’re still not seeing the confirmation email, you’ll need to visit the PAX XP help desk in the Main Entrance (aka North Lobby) and ask to speak with a manager for help with badge activation. (Please note that this email address is not monitored, so please don’t reply to it.)
There’s an option to add kids badges directly during the badge activation process. If you missed that, you’ll need to visit the PAX XP help desk in the Main Entrance (aka North Lobby) and ask to speak with a manager for help with badge activation.
